Joshua De La Cruz, M.S.

Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

Supervised by Annette Chan Han, Ph.D

I am passionate about helping teens unlock their potential and navigate the pressures of school, friendships, and their evolving sense of who they are in this world. With over 10 years of experience in supporting youth, I specialize in working with teens who are dealing with academic stress, anxiety, self-esteem issues, and depression. Many of the teens I work with are highly talented but feel stuck or overwhelmed. Through therapy, my goal is to provide youth with the support they need to regain confidence, emotional resilience, and develop the skills to thrive in school and beyond.

In my work, I often address issues such as ADHD, social media and video game overuse, and relationship struggles, whether with friends, family, or peers. I focus on helping teens create personalized strategies to manage stress, while also addressing the deeper emotional challenges that may be holding them back. Collaborating with families is also an important part of my approach—I work closely with parents to strengthen communication, foster mutual understanding, and create a supportive environment where teens can grow and succeed.

If your teen is struggling with anxiety, academic issues, or low self-esteem, please feel free to reach out! I provide free 15-minute consultations to see how we can work together to support your teen’s growth, happiness, and ability to tackle life’s challenges with confidence.
