Associate Professional Clinical Counselor

Supervised by Annette Chan Han, Ph.D.

I am a multilingual Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) at Align Psychology working with individuals, couples and families to improve their psychological functioning and achieve optimal mental health. I am passionate about working with children and adults who are dealing with depression, anxiety, grief and losses as well as past trauma. Growing up as a cross-culture individual, I understand the challenges of identity issues, acculturation, and generational trauma as immigrants. Given my background working in the corporate world, I also enjoy helping professionals to manage stress, anxiety, and increase productivity, creativity in a high-intensity working environment.

Having lived and worked in multiple countries, I am experienced in counseling clients from various cultural, ethnic, and racial backgrounds and is able to bring a more balanced approach and insight. A Christian counseling perspective is offered to those clients who may choose such an approach.

I obtained my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Victoria. I am a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA). I speak fluent English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and intermediate-level Japanese.
